Open to the Public
Our salvaging and recycling ministry focuses on the restoration of lives and is funded in part by our architectural salvage store.
LOT’s Architectural Salvage Store
You may be asking – what is an architectural salvage store? Each year, there are tons of building materials that are dumped in landfills in the US. With the help of volunteers and our staff, we are able to salvage a portion of these materials. What we salvage is gently used, still in good shape and very usable. We then take these materials to our retail store where they are sold to the public for 50%-90% lower than their original price. We like that we give these materials a chance at being used for a new purpose and use those proceeds to give members of our community a chance at new life.
When you purchase products from the Salvage Store, 100% of the proceeds is used to fund our ministries – The Well, Lots of Treasures Thrift Shoppe, our food pantry, Elevate and our Learn to Earn program. This investment in our community gives our clients a chance at restoration and new life.

Our consignment stores – In our Salvage Store, we have members of our community who have consignment booths full of items for sale to the public. 25% of booth sales is given to LOT 2450. Many of our consignors are artisans and crafters. They help us tell the story of restoration by salvaging old pieces and repurposing them for a new life. If you are interested in becoming a consignor, please contact Marty Roberts at 336.523.0541.
How to donate gently used items – Donations of gently used items are accepted for sale in our Salvage Store. Some items we are unable to take include mattresses and box springs, bedding, older TV’s, chemicals, paints, furniture that is worn or dirty, large older desks and older entertainment centers. Please contact the store for the current donation policy of what items we can accept, 336.523.0541.
