It’s official, we have been celebrating hope and recovery in Rockingham County, NC for TEN YEARS! In the past five years alone, we have distributed over one million pounds of healthy food, sharing love and hope throughout communities in Rockingham County.
LOT 2540, a community-based organization and ministry, in partnership with businesses, churches, organizations, and non-profits provides healthy food, hope, and resources for Rockingham County Residents through our Home Delivery Program for the elderly, The Well Lunch Counter, Celebrate Hope Food Pantry, and the Rockingham United Mobile Market Food Pantry. In 2020 we distributed food 128 times( two to three time per week) at sites across Rockingham County and experienced 108% growth in households served through Mobile programs during the pandemic. Qualified clients receive on average a 125 pound serving of healthy food, 25% of which is fresh produce. At the heart of the work we do is efforts to bring our clients opportunities to live healthier lives spiritually, mentally, as well as physically. Participants are invited to participate in site specific programming that help create healing and growth opportunities in the following four areas, health/nutrition, soft skills, healthy lifestyle and Christian discipleship.
