LOT 2540 Board Member
Teresa Belthrop-Hairston wants to live in a world where injustice and poverty are uprooted by following God’s directions to place the needs of the poor, vulnerable and excluded first and to do them no harm. She believes each person is sacred, created in God’s image and must share in the goods of the earth.
As a spirited woman of God, her life’s vocation has been to serve others in both the private and public sectors. She has enjoyed an extensive career in Business Operations and Human Resources Management with American Express, Travel Related Services, Inc. and again most recently with Rockingham County Schools.
She has devoted herself to serving in Church leadership roles such as a Faith Formation Catechist, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister and as a Spiritual Retreat Leader. As an active board member of LOT 2540 and other local and national service organizations, she is committed to providing action-oriented leadership to bring about justice, peace and the integrity of creation.
When she’s not involved in these activities, you can find her enjoying spending time with her family and pampering her beloved dogs, Rebekah and Annabelle. She loves salvaging midcentury vintage pink antiques and items representing the Atomic Age of design for customers of her business, Cross & Crown Vintage, LLC.
